You may be asking yourself, “What is the difference between a beta and ARC reader?”

Well to put it simply a beta reader is a reader that reads a nearly finished novel and gives feedback directly to the author.

An ARC reader is someone who receives what is called and advanced reader copy. These copies are generally regarded as the finished product. There may be some changes in the published copy, but they are generally very minor. ARC readers generally leave their honest review of the book either on their blog or places such as good reads in exchange for receiving a free copy of the book.
